FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 1)
Rumbling thunder and violet streaks lightning woke Imabasi from a deep sleep, but her lashes fluttered and closed as she drifted off again, burying her head deeper into the pillow. Even as a child, she had loved the sound of thunderstorms.
For some reason, they always lulled her spirit, perhaps because her father was a farmer.
When she checked the time and it was almost 6:AM in the morning, she jumped off from the bed and knelt by it to say her morning prayers.
She was a perfectionist. A lady who kept to time, had her house arranged and clean, her dresses were usually well ironed and she despised scattered stuffs.
Her younger brother Joel, who is a medical doctor had told her that she might be suffering from Obsessive compulsive Disorder (OCD) but she found his words offensive and not appealing.
As a young teacher who taught only primary pupils in London, Imabasi made sure all her pupils became perfect in all their subjects, as far as they passed through her.
"Good morning Imabasi, today is going to be a blissful day." She said to herself as she whirled to her bathroom. It was going to be her first date with Adenuga, her new date from Nigeria. Imabasi had been Adenuga's crush since the first day he met her in God's kingdom ministries; her new church In Kingston. for more stories and relationship tips visit>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com:
Adenuga was going to be her second Nigerian boyfriend. Her first Nigerian boyfriend, pastor Gombe from her former church had a month odour. On their first date, when Imabasi attempted kissing him, she passed out. And after that day, she never saw him again.
Whenever she saw Gombe at bus stops and parks, she hid herself until she could getaway.
"I have a date today!" She said excitedly as her best friend Miriam stared at her, looking amaze.
"I hope he is not gonna have a brown tooth this time." Miriam said as she picked her toothbrush from the holder.
Imabasi giggled.
"Hell no! This one is so clean, he doesn't talk too much, he is so clean, I am not sure he loves football, his shirts are so neat, he smells nice and he doesn't even yawn In public." She reeled off.
"How many times have you seen him?" Miriam asked.
"Once. At the cafe. He speaks British English and his nails are so clean."
"Okay! I just hope you don't complain about this one, this time."
"I won't! he won't give me something to complain about. I will be thirty soon, at my age, I don't need a man who is gonna be another baby. I need a real man. Clean, brilliant, reserve, doesn't flirt, cute, hairy, nice set of teeth, Loves God and respects me."
"You didn't add rich."
"That's been cute. A cute guy is rich." She retorted.
Miriam smiled.
"Your dream man must be from heaven, I mean not born through some woman's ass."
Imabasi chuckled.
"My mom said she needs a son-inlaw, and I said he must perfect. He must have the glory of God reflected in him."
"Here she goes again..."
"Let's not talk about my kind of man anymore, we just found him. And his name is Adenuga." She said girlishly.
"Oh Adenuga, good luck to you!" Miriam said shrilly.

Moments later, Imabasi was dressed in a pair of jeans, a boot and a purple sweater. She had her Vanilla body mist sprinkled all over her body. Her big braids were beginning to get worn out, but she gelled them up and ruffled her hair to the back.
few seconds afterwards, the door bell rang, and as soon as Imabasi gently opened the door, her heart skipped at the sight of her date Adenuga.
He smelt of Masculino perfume, and had a well built physique.
He was just the kind of man Imabasi wanted. He thrilled her on their first date at the cafe, when he said his prayers quietly before he took a sip of his coffee.
He kissed her forehead, and held her hands majestically towards his BMW car as he opened the door respectively.
"My lady" he bowed.
Imabasi felt elegant in her self, he made her feel queenly.
"Where are we off to?" She asked breathlessly.
"My house. You will prepare dinner for me today." Adenuga said huskily.
Imabasi knew that she wasn't going to fail his first test. She was the daughter of a caterer, and she was perfect in this one.
She had to keep so many emotions locked inside.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 2)
Adenuga talked to Imabasi tirelessly until they got to his house.
He had told Imabasi of how he was scuttled into London by an American captain who was a member of his church in Lagos, Nigeria.
Imabasi was tired of the conversations about how he tells his mother everything, and how his mother is the breadwinner and head of the family, and his mother does everything for him. She was tired of looking at his face.
As soon as he got to his house, Imabasi whispered, "thank God." totally stunned by the beautiful structure.
"Welcome to my humble home baby. I live here alone, today is going to be my first time of bringing home a girl since I relocated to London." He said as he led the way to his apartment.
When Imabasi stepped into the sitting room, a horrible smell of rotten rice, mixture of egg and soured beans flew into her nose, she choked and covered her nose with her hands immediately.
There were dirty piled up clothes on the couch, dirty boxers and singlets on the TV and the tile looked old and dirty. Imabasi held her breathe for a moment, then began to cough again.
"I hope you're okay?" Adenuga asked softly. Imabasi nodded childishly.
"Don't mind me please. for more stories and relationship tips visit>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: I can be a very messy person a times. You won't believe I haven't clean this house for the past three months. I can't wait to be married to you, so that you can just take care of the house."
For a minute, Adenuga kept explaining why his house was messy and why he needed a wife, but all what Imabasi thought of was to just go back home and never see him ever again.
"Shall we begin cooking soon? It's been long I ate Amala and ewedu soup." He said and gave a loud laugh. Imabasi gave a light smile.
"My mother sent amala to me last weekend, fresh from Oyo." Imabasi nodded.
"I visited Old Spitalfields markets last week and bought some ingredients that my mother text me, I have never really been a good cook. So today we are going to make Ewedu elegusi, Gbegiri, Efo riro and correct, hot amala!" Adenuga said with another loud laugh.
Imabasi giggled and said, "I am not Yoruba. I have never made Yoruba food or tasted it. So I don't think I will be able to do the cooking." She said politely.
Disappointment was written allover Adenuga's face, as he looked at Imabasi with his mouth wide open.
"You mean you are Nigerian, and you don't know how to make Gbegiri or Efo riro?"
"No I don't. since you're a Nigerian too, and the food is from your tribe, I will watch you do it today, so that next time we won't have this discussion."
"I am a man, for more stories and relationship tips visit>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: it's not a thing of shame if I know how to do it or not, but it is for a woman."
Imabasi gave a disgusting shrug.
"Wow, amazing." She whispered.
"As a good wife Ima, the first thing you should have done when you walked in here was to see that my house is untidy, and help me tidy it."
Imabasi giggled again. "I am not a good wife material Adenuga. If you were a good husband, your house should have been kept clean. " She said boldly.
"Where is your kitchen? I need coffee." She added.
Adenuga pointed at the kitchen, and she walked sluggishly to the kitchen.
"ọlọrun lẹkun" Adenuga said and shrugged in a disgusting matter.
As soon as Imabasi stepped her foot into the kitchen, her eyes widened at the dirty dishes and soured, smelly Noddles in the sink. There were flies perching on everything. She got chocked and vomited
instantly.
"What's that, are you alright?" Adenuga asked as he walked quickly toward her.
She didn't let him touch her, she clutched her sweater together where it had gapped open in front. Backing up the steps without taking her gaze off him, she left for the door handle and shook it until it got open.
She stumbled inside, slammed the door, and closed it behind her, breathing as fast as she could.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 3)
Imabasi was having troubles falling asleep. Her thoughts were jumbled with awful imaginations of Adenuga's kitchen and smelly sitting room. Taking an exasperated breath. She opened her eyes and sat up, clasping her arms around her folded legs. She had regretted going on a date with Adenuga, and she promised herself never to see him again.
She walked into the kitchen and pressed the coffee dispenser. As she watched the Coffee, running into the tea cup, she imagined bacteria in the coffee. The cup fell off from her hands, and she watched the dark coffee splashed on the floor.
"What is wrong with you?" Miriam asked shrilly.
Imabasi stared at the splashed and broken coffee cup on the floor for a moment and gave an audible sigh of relief.
"Since you came back from Adenuga's place, you've been acting strangely. Did he hypnotize you?"
"That guy is dirty. I have never seen such a dirty human being in my life. Even the gutters are better than his house." She said in whispers, totally stunned by what she saw.
Miriam giggled. for more stories and relationship tips visit>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: "Why do you always meet these kind of people? Why didn't you clean up the house for him?"
"God forbid! That guy needs a cook and a cleaner, and not a wife. I can't just cope, even for another minute with him. If I end up marrying Adenuga, I will automatically turn to a maid." Imabasi said with a disgustful glance.
"What does a wife do, that a maid doesn't? I clean, I wash, I cook for Richard. He doesn't even know how to do anything. that is why he loves me."
"Mimi, I can't. I can't marry a man like that. I can't. That's you being able to cope with such, I can't just pretend about it. It's disgusting, it's weird, I can't do it! Oh my God....I need to brush and shower." She said with a disgustful grin.
"Again? This is the fifth time, you're gonna have your bath and brush your mouth."
"I forgot to disinfect my water those times I had my bath. Mimi, I feel sick and terrible. I shouldn't have visited him, I am just feeling like I just came out from the pit of dirt that had creepy things in them. I feel like there are thousands of bacterial around me; In my hands, my feet, my body, my hair." She paused, then whispered, "I can't just stop bathing!" She walked as fast as could to the bathroom, while Miriam watched her looking amazed.

A day had passed, and Imabasi could not get over Adenuga's mishap.
She was trying to recover from it when Miriam got back home with drinks and snacks.
"Hi Ima, I got some good news for us."
She said excitedly as she placed the drinks on the table.
"What's the news?"
"I met Pastor Bryan at the mall today. He shopped us these things. He demanded for your number, so I gave it to him. I think he likes you."
"Oh no Mimi! Pastor Bryan again? Not again please."
"He is a really cool guy."
"No please. He is medical doctor, he and my brother were classmates in College. I can't date a medical doctor who has seen all the naked bodies of women in London, he won't have value for mine."
Miriam laughed and fell on the sofa.
"What exactly do you want from your kind of man Ima?"
"Well, my heart knows..." She said in a low tone.
"I think you should try Pastor Bryan. He is cute, wealthy, and he is a man of God. You should consider having a date with him when he calls." Miriam said as she pivoted toward the drink and picked a chocolate bar.
"Did he smell nice when you saw him?" Imabasi asked with a serious face.
"I can't remember."
"Was his hair brushed."
"I can't remember."
Imabasi gave an audible sigh.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 4)
The encounter between Pastor Bryan and Imabasi had not been an accident at all.
Pastor Bryan was different. He was God fearing, handsome and learned.
Imabasi was about to take a shower when her phone rang; when she saw that it was Pastor Bryan who was calling, she gave an audible sigh and picked his call.
"Hi pastor Bryan."
"Hi Ima. How did you know it was me?"
"True caller application"
"Okay, nice. New Technology huh?"
"Yeah."
"Can we have dinner this evening at the Gilbert Scott restaurant on Euoston road? I really need us to talk. I like you. I think emmm...Miriam might have told you some things. "
"Oh okay, she did. British or French restaurant?"
"British."
"Okay. Are you asking me out?" She dashed around with hurried steps.
"I am asking you on a date." Pastor Bryan said in British accent.
"See you then at Gilbert Scott Pastor Bryan."
She hung up the call and smiled at her phone for a while.
"Miriam, Pastor Bryan is asking me on a date! She said aloud and smiled slowly.
Miriam walked hurriedly into the room.
"He called?" She asked smiling wide. Imabasi nodded excitedly.
"It seems you like him, your expression says you like him."
"Well I think I do. I always love my dates on the first day, but they end up turning me off." She said with a sad grin and leaned against the wall, the towel tied around her breast loosely.

Her heart hammered, she felt as if it might burst out of her body.
She felt a flush climb up her face as she turned to look at him.

"Thanks. You're not looking bad yourself." She said with a soft smile.
"I didn't think it will be easy to have a first date with you." He said politely and led the way back to his seat, followed by Imabasi who was neatly dressed in a white sweater, a pair of jean and strap pink sandals.
"Are you saying that I am cheap?" She asked with an angry gaze.
"Not at all! What I mean is, I am privileged to have you grant my date offer without delay. I feel special." He said nicely.
Imabasi nodded calmly.
"Pastor Charlie's wife Karol has said so much about you. She is going to make you a choir mistress in church soon. She believes in You, she believes that you are a good singer and teacher."
She felt the heat of his gaze, and she realized he was willing her to look at him, but she kept her head lowered.

"You don't read the bible?"
"I do."
"Okay....I will be eating Crumpets Piccalilli, Bangers and mash,
berry triffle, toad in the hole with mustard onion gravy and bottle of Antoinette wine, 2000." Pastor Bryan reeled off.
Imabasi was bewildered, as she raised a gaze at him.
"You're going to eat all of these?" She asked amazingly, finally looking into his eyes.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 5)
Imabasi watched Pastor Bryan talk about his love for Jesus Christ for over three hours. At a point she didn't hear what he was saying anymore, but she watched his lips say words she could not hear.
He had finished eating his food, and even ordered for scotched egg with curry mayo.
"You don't like food as me?" He asked while eating.
"I eat a little." She said softly.
Imabasi watched him eat, she was bored and wanted to go home as soon as possible.
Just after Pastor Bryan had the last sip of his water. He raised his gaze at Imabasi.
"I hope to see you soon Imabasi, I mean if not here, some other place where they make good food too."
Imabasi nodded lightly.
"I love good British food...One of these days, I am going to take you to my sister's restaurant in Hampshire, she makes good meals like Etom mess, chicken Tikka masala, herbed Yorkshire pudding, delicious fish, chips and mushea peas..."
Imabasi nodded again.
Heavy raindrops had just begun to fall as she reached for her clutched purse.
"We have to start going, the rains are here."
"Imabasi," he said, for more stories and relationship tips visit>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: holding out one of her hands.
She wanted to go, and didn't want to hear Pastor Bryan talk about anything anymore.
"I am not willing to let you go. I love you, and will want to spend the rest of life with you and Jesus, and maybe the kids."
"Pastor Bryan, you will have to give me time to pray about this and discuss with God."
His steely gaze pierced the darkness of the restaurant. He had never fallen in love with a sister in Church before, Pastor Bryan wasn't easily cracked.
"I wanted to order for a bottle of fruit wine, but it's okay. Let me drop you off before it gets too late."
Disgust grew in Imabasi's heart as she stood up and walked out of the restaurant, pastor Bryan followed her behind.
Imabasi struggled with the car door, and after she forcefully opened it, she gave an audible sigh of relief, her clothes were drained on the rain.
"Oh, you got yourself wet, sorry about that."
"You mean you're not feeling guilty that I got drained in the rain?" she asked with a disgustful glance.
"I didn't make the rain lady, God made the rain. Showers of blessing huh? you should be grateful that the rains of God drained you, take it as blessings." He said huskily."
She flipped her long wet hair over her face and pressed her hands against her chest.
And just when Pastor Bryan drove into her street, he gave a loud fart. Imabasi was astounded as she covered her hands on her nose.
"Stop the car! stop the damn car!" She yelled angrily.
Pastor Bryan's heart skipped, as he wondered what was happening. Imabasi pushed the car door and slammed it.
"I don't wanna ever see you near my house, near me ever again!" She had been expecting him to say he is sorry, but he didn't.
"Miss Imabasi, is there anywhere that was made for farting? Even the president of America farts, even Queen Elizabeth farts, I am sure that Jesus Christ Farted too...get into the car let me drop you off, it's not right for a lady to walk on a lonely street by this time of the night." He said.
But Imabasi kept walking until she got to her house.
Pastor Bryan drove slowly behind her, until he noticed she had gotten home save. He waited for her door to be open, then he drove off.
"Your body is wet despite that Pastor Bryan dropped you off, did the car have holes?" Miriam asked with amused tone.
With Imabasi's heart pounding in her throat, she removed her clothes and covered herself with a towel.
"That guy, I mean the one that calls himself pastor Bryan, he is a nincompoop. He is a fool!" Imabasi said with anger in her eyes.
"Just shut up. Don't talk like that about an ordained man of God, just because he asked you on a date."
"What the fuck? you think I should feel privileged right now, that a man whom I mistook to be responsible would eat that much food? He is such a talkative, he talks too much! He isn't even romantic, he called me 'Imabasi'. Not even some sort of endearments. Mimi, this guy talks about Jesus like he is one commoner. I hate him! You won't believe that he farted, he farted aloud right before me. A smelly fart! draining infections on my body! He couldn't even open the car door for me. He is just too unapologetically proud! I am so disappointed that he has the name pastor attached to his name. I will never ever date a brother in church anymore. I thought they would be different." She said angrily and walked into her room, her whole body shook as she opened her wardrobe.
Miriam dared not to laugh this time.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 6)
Three months later...
The night was as black as pitch except for an occasional jagged streak of lightning that illuminated the room.
Imabasi was reading a novel and using the torchlight from her phone to point on it. Miriam appeared by her side, still wearing her black shiny dress that reflected in the dark. Her hair had been slipping from its haphazard knot on top of her head, she wasn't sure she still had lipsticks on, because Richard had kissed them away.
"Why are the lights off?" She asked calmly. Trying to sit comfortably on the soft single sofa beside Imabasi.
"Whenever it's raining, I feel really lonely. I don't usually like the lights on, especially when I am alone. How was your dinner with Richard?" Imabasi asked.
"Amazing. He took me to his new house after dinner and it was really beautiful. So before he brought me home, we had a little dirty play... Something you usually don't like though." Miriam said shrilly. Imabasi stared at her smiling wide.
"What play was that? for more stories and relationship tips visit>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: common Mimi, I like any play lovers do."
"Okay! We farted! We did farting competition until we couldn't fart anymore."
"Aweee! That's gross, how can two adults play such dirty play?"
"Well, my Richard and I are not dirty adults. I love it that way. What you detest, other people may like it."
Imabasi thought for a while, and gave an audible sigh.
"I don't detest everything. I haven't just met what I want."
Miriam laughed.
"Did you just say that? You detest everything in any man Ima. Three months ago, you met Thomas, Michael and Victor. These three men were fascinating and cool. Your relationship with Michael was almost perfect. You two were almost getting there. And then suddenly you came back home and said he snores at night." Miriam gave a loud laugh and then continued, "Then this Thomas guy from the school you teach came around, he liked you, he really did. I understand he is a single daddy, but what if he was just that guy you wanted? And then Victor came with all his niceness, he was head over heels in love with you, and you came back here after few visits to his house and said he smoked too much. But I discovered he only smoked when he was cold. Have you ever thought of your own flaws, and who's gonna cope with them?"
"I am still trying to be perfect!"
"But you're not! Same as any other person out there, same as me, as Richard. Richard was so scattered when we met. He didn't know how to cook, clean or do anything. Now he knows. He makes dinner for us, sometimes he Wants to surprise me; he cleans the house and cooks. So you see, most times when I come home and you tell me how you admire my relationship with Richard, I have worked on it. It's imperfect, but because I love him it's perfect to me. Every man, every man got shit. But you haven't even met the worse of them. Pastor Bryan will be getting married in July, you should have been that bride. But no, you came yelling that he was a pathetic glutton, and a talkative. You see, someone is gonna marry him."
"I haven't regretted anything. I never loved him, he was too wacky for me."
"Who are you? Angelina Jolie or the fictional Olivia Pope?"
"My name is Imabasi James Oscar, and I am not settling for something I have to manage. I have worth, I am a princess, I am worth golds, diamonds and emeralds. I am Imabasi, and will not accept to be compared to any damn person." She frowned and threw her novel on the floor.
Miriam lowered her voice and said,
"If you want a normal man, a perfectionist, just like you. You are going to end up having a very boring life." Miriam whirled and began walking rapidly.
After a few seconds of silence, Imabasi said, "there is this British guy from Lavenham, Suffolk. He is a volleyball player."
Miriam paused and then gazed at her excitedly.
"ugh...most volleyball players in London are cute guys. Do you like him?" Miriam asked. For a timeless second, Imabasi simply stared at her.
"I do. I like him. He is cute, he is well to do and he loves me. It's just that I didn't wanna rush into dating and all of that..."
"What's his name?"
Imabasi inhaled sharply. "Troy. He is so cute and I'm scared a lot of girls are going to struggle to have him too."
"If he loves you, there will be no need for that. He will proudly tell them he has a girlfriend."
"He just seems too perfect. I hope I am not wrong." She glanced up at Miriam,
"I will love this one."

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 7)
Kissing her with incredible tenderness, he slid his arm around her waist and reached for the light switch.
"Welcome to my home." He whispered softly against Imabasi's ears.
Her eyes widened at the beautifully furnished apartment.
The sitting room shelf had medals and award statues lined up on them.
There were over ten scented candles which had strawberry, berry bloom and cherry scents. She felt like she was in a perfume factory. This was just the type of life she wanted, the kind of man she wished for; perfect without flaws in all ramifications.
Troy was tall, handsome and above all intelligent. He was a clean guy with a good taste. He was an Introvert, romantic and very loving; Just what Imabasi had always wanted.
He pulled her tightly against his chest, she felt the certainty and the power of his words when he spoke against her ears.
"I am happy to have you right in my house, right in my arms."
"I love you too." She replied softly. It was the first time she ever said that and meant it with her whole heart.
A smile edged his lips. his intense hazel eyes were practically glowing.
"I cooked. I love cooking and it's something I enjoy doing for someone I love." Troy said, as he held her hands to the dinning table.
"What did you cook?" Imabasi asked looking amazed at the bowls on the table.
"Potato and beer soup, steamed lemon pudding with treacle sauce and I made earl Greg tea spritzer." He said softly as he opened the bowls one after the other.
He carefully led Imabasi to a seat, and handed a plate and a scooper to her. " Dish whatever you want." He said.
Imabasi was grateful, she felt special and well treated by Troy. Her instincts was right about him, he was just that perfect man she had always wished for.
"What about your family?" Troy asked.
"Ugh, My mom and dad are in Nigeria. Akwa Ibom state Nigeria..."
Troy giggled, for more stories and relationship tips visit>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: "I have never heard of such a name before. You know the first time you told me your name, I had to write it down on my pad, so that I won't forget."

"Great. Well, I am the fifth child of my mama. We are five boys. My mama lives in Croydon, I visit her once in a three months. She and my dad got separated when I was younger." He said, as he spooned a heavy load of the lemon pudding with treacle sauce in his mouth.
"I will love to see her someday." Imabasi said softly.
"Sure baby, sure. She would love to see you too."
Moments after they finished eating, Troy cleared the table, while Imabasi assisted him in washing the dishes.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" Imabasi asked calmly.
"No, I won't be asking you out if I did. I used to have a girlfriend, we broke up after I discovered she was cheating on me. Maya was bitch. But I'm glad I have found true love with you." he said drawing close to Imabasi. "What about you? Do you have a boyfriend?"
Imabasi shook her head. "I have not dated someone for over two years now."
"You were meant for me." He said huskily.
A fierce longing swept through her, speeding up her heart, as Troy grabbed her wholely to himself.
As their gazes locked, a strange sense of peace settled over her. She turned away, frightened by the intensity of his gaze. But he held her face and kissed her like his life depended on it.
"I will hope for many more days like this." He looked deep into her eyes. He took her chin, and turned her face up to his.
"I hope you won't break my heart my darling?"
At that moment she wanted nothing more than to tell him how much she loved him.
She wanted to tell him how lucky she was to have him. But she couldn't, she was mute for a moment, letting the words hang on the air. She kissed him again, even more passionately.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 8)
Imabasi was seething with anger when she saw that Miriam was in her bathroom.
She had just returned back from work when she heard water rushing into the water cistern.
She began to remove her dress, and then her shoes.
Miriam startled when Imabasi called her by her native name, "Ekemini Udobot! Come out from my bathroom before I pull you out!"
"Oh Ima so sorry. I knew you won't like this. The water cistern in my toilet isn't flushing. I will have to call the plumber later."
"You know I hate sharing my bathroom with anyone. What if you've got infections like fungals and bacteria, what if you've got candidiasis and itchy vaginal infection?" Her face suffused with bitter anger. But before she could say something else, Miriam was out from the bathroom. The towel was loosely tied around her, she gave Imabasi an angry stare.
"You're saying all these to me just because I used your toilet? Have you forgotten I also contribute to the house rent?"
"I don't care. You have your bathroom I have mine. Use yours. You know how I hate sharing my things with anybody." She said, as she picked up the folded clothes and threw them in a traveling bag.
"I won't give you the opportunity to talk to me anyhow again." Miriam said softly, as she walked out of the room and then paused.
"Victor called the land Line. He said he really wants to see you, that your number isn't going through."
"Next time he calls, tell him I have a date now. I have a boyfriend, the perfect boyfriend I have always wanted! Shame to you all!" She said aloud. But Miriam gave a loud sigh, shook her head and walked away.

That same evening, after Troy made dinner, Imabasi tried to compose her face, but the sight of Troy standing naked in the bathroom with her, so masculine and sexy, his body glistening with water, his hair white with shampoo.
"I am shy." Imabasi said softly as she covered her face with her soapy hands.
Troy bursted out into laughing. "Common, don't be shy. It's me baby." He managed to say through the laughter.
He glared at her, with the shampoo running down his neck and chest.
She wiped her eyes, when she tried to get into the foamy bathtub with him.
He held her close to himself. A reluctant smile tugged at his mouth and Imabasi hugged him. He was so handsome when he smiled, and she couldn't resist kissing him even more.
"I will be taking you to mom next month at Croydon. She will be so delighted to see you." He said Softly, as he kissed her even more.
"my only family now is my best friend and my brother." She said.
"You can bring her here to spend the weekend with us." He said.
Imabasi became overwhelmed. She couldn't wait to introduce her best friend to Troy.

Miriam was typing with her laptop when Imabasi walked into her room.
She was on her bed, and only the typing sounds from the keyboard was heard.
She took a sip of coffee and dropped it back on the stool beside her bed.
"What do you want in my room? This is my own space Imabasi." She said with an angry tone.
Imabasi stared at her pitifully. She clasp her hands together and then pondered for a while on what to say to Miriam.
"I am so sorry for what happened between us. I am such a naughty friend bestie. I should have just let you use my bathroom without bickering. I am sorry."
She said softly.
Miriam looked into her eyes, and all she saw was contrition in her gaze.
She reached for her hands, and led her closer to the bed. Her eyebrow arched, and she gave her a hard Look.

"Your new boyfriend must be a champ!"
Miriam exaggerated, while Imabasi nodded delightedly.
"He wants me to bring you over to his house for a weekend.
He is so sweet! He cooks, gives me foot massage when I am stressed out, cuddles me, doesn't nag, he smells like wonder. He has this sensual and sexy smile he drowns me with..."
"I hope he doesn't have bushy armpit like Teddy your crush from Columbia?"
"Mimi! awweeee..." She squealed. "Don't remind me of that son of a pig. He was everything foolish."
Miriam was laughing out loud, and Imabasi was laughing too. Laughing and playing, and feeling like a kid, like they had when they were in secondary back in Nigeria.
"You have met so many types of men in this country. At a point, I was praying to God to just ignore your silliness over making a choice and keeping to it, and thanks to him he has finally given you the almighty perfect Troy."
Imabasi excitedly watched Miriam as she talked about her encounter with men and kept laughing and breathing out aloud.
"You're a big case Mimi, you mean you remember all of them huh? Do you remember Teejay from Wembley?"
"You mean the guy who had a brown tooth and tiny legs? The guy was almost a dwarf."
Imabasi's laugh sounded like a cry, as she laughed out aloud, clapping her hands together.
"Teejay is the shortest man I have ever seen in London. And he was so loud. He kept talking about how he had sex with a girl at Northala fields...you remember that story?
"...And the girl screamed his name uncountable times."
The two women laughed and joked till they were tired. They made dinner together and planned on visiting Troy.

Troy made pork pies and Bratwurst stew with sauerkraut.
He lined the bowls of food on the dinning table and after the cutleries and plates were set, he called on Imabasi and Miriam.
"Ladies, food is ready." He said aloud.
Imabasi became excited as she held Miriam's hand and sat on the chair.
"Troy is a good cook." Imabasi said excitedly.
"Good for you." Miriam retorted unusually.
The three of them began to eat. Miriam didn't like the pork pies, but she liked the bratwurst stew, and she ate more of it.
"You're a good cook." Miriam said, turning her gaze to Troy.
"I am glad you like it." He said as his gaze traveled from her face down to her breasts, and when Miriam felt the hardness of his stare, she became uncomfortable and uneasy.
"I am filled." She said, and dropped the fork and the knife.
"So soon? You should eat more." Troy said soothingly.
She studied him for a moment before she answered.
"No, I am fine." Miriam said softly.
Imabasi gaze at Miriam immediately and took off her eyes. She suspected something wasn't right with Miriam, but she wasn't sure what it was.

Imabasi led Miriam to the guest room after they had a bottle of white wine. The room didn't have a door, and she was scared of sleeping there alone.
"Can you come stay with me here please?" Miriam said.
"Of course not. for more stories and relationship tips visit>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: Troy will want me in his arms." She stared directly at Miriam's eyes and said, "Is everything alright with you? You are not comfortable here."
"I will be fine." Miriam said, and walked into the room, leaving the light switch on.
A moment later, Miriam was sleeping soundly when a hand lightly ran through her thighs.
In confusion, she blinked her eyes, disoriented for a moment, and then her eyes widened on Troy.
Everything came rushing back to her at once, when she sat up quickly, she realized that he was naked. His heart slammed into his gut, and he quickly stood up from the bed.
His voice was low when he said, "I fell in love with you the moment I saw you, let's make love to seal this please. I can tell your friend that I don't love her anymore, it's you Miriam."
Miriam was shaking in horror.
"Please just leave here before I scream. I am going to scream, you can't love me. You're not what Ima thinks you're. You're a Casanova, you're a player, and if you lay your hands on me, I will arrest you, I will tell the police that you are a rapist. And you know what that means?" Miriam said in a shaky tone, as she held the duvet to herself.
"You have a beautiful skin, breast and butt. I love it." He whispered, his words hit with full force.
"Get out please. Just go..." Miriam said in a low, but deeper voice.
She gave him a scathing glare as he walked out of the room.
She mumbled under her breath, biting back an angry retort.
She couldn't sleep anymore. She sat up on the bed, thinking about how she was going to tell her best friend, that the man she claims loves her so much sneaked into her thighs in the middle of the night.
It sounded heavy in Miriam's mouth, she wondered how Imabasi was going to feel when she tells her of Troy's behavior.
Through the endless sleepless night, she had thought of Imabasi and Troy. She recalled how Imabasi boasted about him, and thought of how she was going to feel if she found out that he wasn't just that guy she thought he was, he was worse than the others.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 11)
The day was sweltering, and Miriam put on her sunglasses all through in the car, until they got home. She was quiet all the while, and Imabasi wondered what was going on with her.
When Troy stopped the car right before their house, Miriam was the first to alight hastily.
The first step she took was jarring.
Imabasi gave Troy a kiss on the lip and walked as fast as she could behind her friend.
"You don't seem okay?" Imabasi asked sadly.
"I am fine. I am not just in the mood." Miriam retorted.
"No you're not. You were so excited to join Troy and I for a weekend vacation. And then this morning, you said you wanted to come back home."
Miriam clicked the door open as she glared at Imabasi. "Richard wants me."

Miriam sniffed in disgust as she threw her handbag on the sofa.
"Where was Troy last night, few hours after dinner?" Miriam asked, her face suffused with bitterness.
"I was deeply asleep...Most times he plays the PS3 game in the sitting room, so I am sure he was there while I was asleep."
"No, you're not sure. He was right in the guest room, running his hands down my thighs, trying to reach my panties, so he could sleep with me and...."
"Stop it, stop it this minute! My Troy isn't the person you're talking about right now. I won't have you talk about my boyfriend like that. He loves me, he will never want any other woman."
Miriam said softly,
"I didn't want to tell you this. But you forced me to. This is the last time I am going to talk to you about Troy. He is not the guy you think he is. He is a womanizer, he a cheat, he is worse than a rapist, he is a...."
"Just shut up! You're jealous. You're jealous of me, you can't have him. He is better than your Richard, whom you wash his dirty linens and you're just so tired of his boring, stupid, dirty life! My Troy is much better. I can't even compare him to your Richard. I don't wanna ever see you cross my bedroom door. Stay in your lane, I stay in mine." She glared angrily at her as she walked away, and she turned back in time to see Miriam's fury. Miriam actually smiled, a bittered smile, which only mad her angrier.
There was disappointment written allover Miriam's face. She didn't know what to say or do. She lowered herself on the sofa, breathing in and out.
Suddenly, Imabasi flew out from the room to the sitting room, she stood before Miriam and said, "I brought you from Nigeria to London, I organized your visa, bought you a ticket. I made you, I made. And now, you wanna pay me back by ruining the only perfect thing I have ever had."
Miriam pretended not to hear her, but instead stared at her angry reddish face.
"As I told you earlier, you're dating a male whore! If there is any word like that. If I had known, I would have screamed the roof down when he came to me last night. But I pitied him. I pitied you. I didn't wanna see that tears in your eyes, I didn't wanna see the shame. He couldn't even get his eyes off my breast. My Richard can never be so lustful towards a woman, not even my friend. Instead of you raising your voice, and embarrassing yourself here, why not go investigate more on this guy. You don't know him. Whatever he told you about himself are all lies. He is a Casanova, and he is never going to change, not even because of you. Because you're so naive and stupid!"
Miriam said with anger in her tone, while Imabasi nodded tearily.
Miriam took her handbag and walked away with long strides, her voice deepening several tones when she said, "get out of my way!"

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 12)
Imabasi was angry. Her heart became bittered as Miriam's words ran through her head.
She got up from the sofa and took her wallet. Walking out, she slammed the door.
She didn't know where she was going to. She was pained and needed someone to talk to.
She took a cab to Troy's house. She wasn't sure about what she was doing, but she closed her eyes all through, wishing in heart that Troy will tell her Miriam was lying. And that he loves just her and nobody else.
"We are here ma'am." The cab guy said.
Imabasi gave an audible sigh of relief and handed some money to him.
As she alighted from the cab, her legs ached, they were trembling as she walked toward Troy's apartment.
She pressed the door bell twice. The door clicked open and her heart trembled at the sight of a white lady, she had a blonde hair and Troy's towel tide around her.
"Who are you?" Imabasi asked with anger in her tone.
The lady noticed the irritation in her tone and smiled to herself.
"I am Maya."
"Same Maya? Troy said you're his ex."
Maya giggled. " I am his wife! I am sure you're one of the girls Troy has been deceiving. Since I left for Bromley, I have seen your types in quite a number." Maya said.
Imabasi suddenly became calm. " You're married to Troy? He told me you're his ex." Imabasi said in a broken voice.
"Troy, Troy?" Maya called out in a loud tone, as she laid her head on the door and folded her arms. Troy appeared with same color of towel wrapped around his waist. His heart melted as he saw Imabasi. Maya slapped him twice on the cheeks.

She ached all over, and now she was exhausted.
Nothing in her life had prepared her to deal with a man like Troy.
"Please don't come here anymore. Maya is back. I met her at home after I returned from dropping you and your friend off. I didn't know she was coming." He tried to explain to her.
"Troy!" Maya called from inside the house.
"Yes honey." He replied in a loud shaky tone as he opened the door and slammed it against her.
Imabasi knew it was over. She felt her face flush. She became angry with herself. After a while, her eyes grew heavy and the ground grew harder.
With bittered pains in her heart, she made it to her house.
She clicked the door open and the fresh smell of bacon rumbled her stomach.
Miriam saw her when she walked in, she noticed there were tears in her eyes. She untied her apron and took the kitchen towel, cleaning her hands and walking hastily toward her.
"You were right. He is a male whore." Imabasi said in broken whispers.
"Oh no. You asked him?"
"I wanted to. But I discovered he is married. He has a wife." Imabasi began to sob softly.
Miriam's eyes fluttered shut, and she sighed.
"Victor has been calling the landline. I strongly believe that guy is good. He loves you. He promised to stop smoking because of you."
"I don't want a man now, until I hear from God."
Miriam shook her head. "Until you hear from God now? No more searching for a perfect man?"
"A perfect man is the one God is going to show me. I won't choose alone. Pastor preaches about getting signs. I will ask God for a sign."
Miriam's eyes widened. "It doesn't work for everyone. It doesn't."
"It does! I will ask God for a sign. I will find out from God if Victor is really the right man."
Miriam tried to suppress the smile that played on her lips, but she was not entirely successful.

"Sister Imabasi, God said I should let you know this; The first single man you see today at your door post is the man God has ordained to be your husband." Pastor Iniunam said over the phone.
Pastor Iniunam was Imabasi's mom's pastor in Nigeria. Her mom had given her his number since two years back.

"Amen pastor. I will do so as soon as possible. Send the church account number." She turned her face to Miriam, who was listening to her conversation with pastor Iniunam over the phone.
Imabasi hung up the call and said, "This is going to work. I wonder why I didn't call him since, by now I would have been married Mimi. Mom was right, he is indeed a man of God."
"Indeed." Miriam muttered and gave a loud sigh. for more stories and relationship tips visit>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: "Nigerian pastors! why must you send him money first? I am not just having a good feeling about this pastor Iniunam."

Miriam nodded mockingly.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
The two women turned to each other.
"Are you expecting someone?" Imabasi asked surprisingly.
"No I am not. Richard won't come here without letting me know."
Imabasi was quiet, she thought only for a moment.
"Jesus! Pastor Iniunam was right! He said the first single man to knock on our door is going to be the man God has ordained to be my husband!" She exclaimed, and got up immediately from the bed.
Miriam stared at her surprisingly, as she sprinkled the body mist on her body and wore a nude colour lipsticks. She glanced down at her feet and applied a lotion quickly on it.
"This is God. God bless Pastor Iniunam, I am going to send him that money before noon Mimi." She said excitedly as she paused and exhaled.
"I wonder what he might look like."
The doorbell rang the second time, and Imabasi took her phone from the bed and turned to Miriam.
"Mimi, it is not right that my husband should see me for the first time, looking like a low life woman. How do I look?"
She asked eagerly as she turned around stylishly.
"You look good. Loosen your hair, ponytails don't really fit your face." Miriam said shrilly.
The doorbell rang the third time and Imabasi ran out of the room, followed by Miriam.
They were both anxious.
They opened the door immediately and their eyes swirled like molten lava.
He gazed down at her, his lips set in a tight line.
Imabasi caught and held his gaze, he was aghast at the way the two women stared at him.
"Newspaper delivery?" He asked in a soft tone.
Imabasi stared at his dirty feet, he had just one hand; His left hand was cut off. His left eye was closed with a one-sided shade.
Imabasi collected the newspaper reluctantly as she gave him a disgustful stare.
She glanced down at his feet severally, wondering the last time he had his bath.
"Thank you. You can go." Miriam said when she noticed her friend got lost in her thoughts.
As they slammed the door, Imabasi's knee suddenly went weak, as she slumped to the ground. She was trying to gather her thoughts together.
"In all my years of seeing one's husband, that guy isn't worth being a boyfriend of a pauper." Miriam said and gave a loud amused laugh. "Your pastor failed you this time."
Without a word, Imabasi kept thinking of the newspaper delivery guy.
"He is a powerful man of God. He sees what others can't see. He sees visions." Her mother said to her on the day Ima complained about not being lucky with relationships.
"Thank you sir." She greeted.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 14)
"Few months ago, you needed a perfect man. Now you want the man God will choose for you by himself. There is no such man as perfect Ima." Mimi said shrilly, as she scooped the last spoon of noodles into her mouth.
Imabasi's face had gone blank as she'd yelled. "A man given to me by God is perfect!" She stood up straight, her eyes hooded and a small frown creasing her forehead.
Her phone rang, and she picked it up immediately from the sofa when she saw that it was pastor Iniunam.
"Hello pastor" She said, as her voice got low.
"Sister Imabasi, God bless you my child. I sent the account number since, but I didn't get any alert." He said huskily.
Imabasi coughed and then said, "Pastor, the man who came to my door post this morning was a newspaper vendor. He had just one hand. I am angry, so angry. Why would God want to give me a man who is that dirty and handless? I am not worth such a man." Her voice was so bitter.
Pastor Iniunam gave a loud laugh and then said, "You are a child Of God sister Ima, you can tell God what you want and he will send him to you. If you don't want the newspaper guy, you can keep praying. God can show you more people to choose from in your dream." Pastor Iniunam paused and then began to say things in strange languages, "Hahhalabosokalabarayah, hmmm! "God bless you, remain blessed."
Imabasi hung up the call and turned her gaze to Miriam, "Pastor Iniunam is a man of God indeed.
"Oh really? This pastor Iniunam that you believe in so much, I hope he won't turn out to be fake."
"Can't you be positive for me once Mimi?"
Miriam glared at her, her arms crossed, a wry smile curving her lips.
"okay. I will stop sounding negative. Let's go find your man. Go have a shower, wear your best dress, do a light makeup, let's go get your man." Miriam said with a wide smile on her face.
Imabasi became delighted as she ran into her room. She had removed piles of clothes from her trunk box, just to get a dress.
She took her shower immediately, and after a long makeup on her face, she wore a turquoise blue tight gown that exposed her buttocks.
"Wow, this is beautiful. You look like a seductress." Miriam teased.
Imabasi whirled around excitedly as she took her purse and stood still for Miriam.
"Pastor Iniunam said he is a white guy remember? So, your British accent should be superb." She said excitedly.
"Let's go, before we miss him." Imabasi said as she walked majestically out of the house, followed by Miriam.
As soon as they stepped out of the house, a cab guy stopped in front of them, making a low break sound from the car.
"Here he is!" Miriam whispered to her as she took a deep breathe.
"Hello beautiful women, where?" The cab guy asked, his English had Chinese accent, and it was obvious that he was Chinese.
" Brixton Market." Miriam said shrilly.
"He is white and clean. I think I like him, your god child is going to be Nigerian-chinese, such a child is going to be so beautiful because she will have a combination of black and white beauty right?" Imabasi reeled off in whispers into Miriam's ears. She pulled away again and headed for the front seat of the car.
As soon as Imabasi slammed the car door, a strong garlic smell hit her hard on the nose. An unreasonable fury trembled inside her, desperate to be released. She let it all out, she puked all the noodles she ate in the car and then yelled, "Stop the car! you're not my husband!"
She was becoming hysterical and her throat was clogging up.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 15)
A smile played involuntarily around Miriam's mouth as she listened to Imabasi lament over her misfortunes with men.
"I am never going to pick pastor Iniunam's call again. He is a liar." Imabasi said as she walked to the kitchen sink and ran cold water over her wrists, then splashed her face. She stood there, her dripping hands covering her face, until her throat stopped hurting with the need to cry.
"I will be thirty one next year Mimi. And I don't even have a serious boyfriend." She said weakly.
"You had good men all around you. But you said they weren't perfect enough. You complained about Stan's small penis, Victor's smoking habits, body odours, snoring and all that shits. You haven't met the right man yet, keep searching. Pastor Iniunam gave you other options after all."
"What options?"
"That God can also reveal to you in the dream who the man is. But I think you should let go all of these and try to fix a date with Victor. He said he was going to stop smoking because of you."
"He didn't mean that. I don't ever want to see him. I detest the acrid smell of cigarettes, it's choking. No matter what, he is still going to smell cigarettes."
Miriam started chopping the celery, while Imabasi helped in washing the dishes.
"Have you ever thought of why I am so careful about choosing a life partner?" Imabasi broke the silence.
"It has never occurred to me." Miriam replied.
"I have witnessed so many divorces. I don't want to face that. Marriage is everlasting Mimi."
"Ima, I just hope that all these won't lead to a more woeful marriage. Life is too short." Miriam said as she turned the chopped celery into a pot.
Just when she placed the pot of celery on the gas, the doorbell rang.
"Are you expecting someone?" Miriam asked Imabasi.
"Nope. for more stories and relationship tips visit>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: Maybe it's the newspaper guy again, but I don't wanna ever see his face." Imabasi said as she wiped her hands on the kitchen towel.

She clicked it open and her heart skipped at the sight of Richard.
He was carrying a bouquet of roses. "Hi baby." He said huskily as he smiled at her.
Imabasi stared at them smiling wide.
"Hi Richard." Imabasi said softly.
"Ima Hi."
Richard handed the flower to Miriam as he knelt on one knee, he inserted his hands into his pocket and brought out a small box. He clicked it open and Miriam and Imabasi were bewildered.
Miriam tried to compose her face, but the sight of Richard kneeling there, so handsome and masculine with a diamond ring in his hands sent dozens of happiness to her heart. She bursted out laughing and crying at the same time as she put her hand over her mouth and tried not to laugh out loud.
"Please Marry me Baby. The moment you came into my life, everything changed. You became my everything; my mom, my sister and my lover. And now I want to make you my life companion. Marry me please. Life without you will be meaningless."
"Yes. Yes! I will marry you." Miriam said excitedly as she gave out her left hands.
A line of tear dropped out of Imabasi's eyes as She watched Richard put the ring into Miriam's finger.
She wiped her eyes as Miriam kissed Richard on the lip and hugged him tight.
"Thank you baby." Richard said as his arms tightened reflexively around Miriam.
After Miriam had hugged Richard for a while, she turned to Imabasi and gave her a warm hug.
"I am getting married!" she said shrilly.
A fierce longing swept through Imabasi, speeding up her heart. She wished at that moment that her dream man should come to him soon.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 16)
Miriam's joy had no bound when Richard told her they were getting married in Nigeria. Her parents would be proud of her.
Imabasi for a moment, looked longingly at Miriam's engagement ring.
"I have lived in London for fifteen years. I have never met a guy who wants to be serious with me. And you've been in London for just a year Miriam, you just found your prince charming, how did you do it? Please don't tell me about endurance and tolerance, even if he farts in my mouth." Imabasi said bitterly.
Laughter bubbled up Miriam's chest, making her feel bold and a little reckless.
"I am not sure you're ready for a relationship yet, or that you're a relationship person." A reluctant smile tugged at her mouth.
"I am a woman, of course I am a relationship person." Imabasi retorted.
"Then prove it to me.
"How?"
"Who is the only man who is after you right now, who wants you so badly? You don't necessarily need to be crazy in love with a man before you can date him."
"Victor. But he smo..."
"No but! Call him!" Miriam said aloud.
Imabasi took a deep breath.
"I am the woman, I can't call him. He should be calling me and asking me for a date."

Imabasi nodded slowly and fell on the bed.
"He hasn't call for days now." she said in a low tone.
"It doesn't matter. He is human, he also got tired of always bothering you. I think you should call him."
For a few moment, Imabasi thought of how she was going to talk toVictor.

Few days later, Imabasi and Miriam had began wedding shopping. They were at a bridal shop trying to make a choice of a wedding gown.
"You should choose what you're wearing too. I mean as my maid of honour." Miriam said with a light smile.
Imabasi nodded gently.
"I am going back home again without a husband. My mom is going to eat me raw. "
Miriam gave a loud laugh, Imabasi's heart ached at the echo of her infectious laugh.
"Not funny." She said with a girlish frown.
"Hi ladies." A slim young lady in a black jean and purple sweater said delightedly. She had piles of wedding gowns in her hands.
"Hello" Imabasi and Miriam said in unison.
"I really have a problem choosing my wedding gown, so before my fiance comes here, I will like you two to choose for me. But I really love this." She said nicely as she revealed a pearl beaded wedding dress to Imabasi and Miriam.
"I think you should wear it first. We can choose from there, and then you can choose mine too." Miriam said.
"Forgive my manners, I am Monica Anderson from California." She said nicely.
"We are Nigerians. I am Miriam, and this is my best friend Imabasi" She pointed at Imabasi. Imabasi waved at Monica nicely.
Monica and Miriam went into the dressing room, and for moments, they came out with different styles of wedding dress which Imabasi found it difficult to choose from.
"I am really confused, they are really beautiful. I don't know the exact one you should choose. I think you should try the others, while I take pictures of them." Imabasi said as she searched for her phone in her bag. "And you can choose by yourselves from my phone." She added.
"My fiance is here!" Monica exclaimed.
As she ran toward him. He was tall, handsome, and the sound of his voice skipped Imabasi's heart.

He smiled slightly as Imabasi watched him converse with Miriam delightedly.
Moments later, Miriam joined her in the car, as the taxi guy drove off.
"You took a lot of time talking with that cheat and his ugly looking girlfriend." Imabasi said with a tinge of anger in her tone.
Miriam gave a loud laugh and then drew in a deep breath. "You're just jealous."
"Me, jealous? I am not jealous of him. I am only angry, that all those while he was after me, he had a girlfriend he was getting married to."
"That's not true Ima. Victor just met this girl few weeks ago."
"He should have waited a bit longer!" She squealed.
"He waited enough!"
"I don't wanna sound like I'm jealous, but that girl is really ugly. And she talks too much, what sort of a woman is that?"
Miriam glanced at her with a sardonic twist to her lips. "That girl is beautiful. For a white girl, she is Beautiful, and your supposed boyfriend is madly in love with her. He told me so."
"Who cares?" Imabasi said disgustingly with a wave of hand.
"If you didn't care, you wouldn't be talking about it."
"I don't give a damn about Victor or his ugly white girlfriend. What exactly do Nigerian men find in white girls?"
"Because white girls love unconditionally without citing their flaws to their face!"
Without a word, Imabasi crossed her arms across her breasts, as pains kept hunting her thoughts. for more stories and relationship tips click>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com:

Few weeks to Miriam's Wedding; Imabasi, Miriam and Richard were all set for Nigeria.
Imabasi was arranging some piles of clothes in a big box, while Miriam had the boxes cleaned with a rag.
"My mom said I shouldn't arrive Nigeria without perfumes and Hannah Montana shower gels." Imabasi said shrilly.
Miriam giggled.
"It's good she didn't tell you not to come back without a husband this time." She grinned at her in a funny way and chuckled.
"You're now making fun of my single life because you're getting married right? If I didn't bring you to London, would you have met a cute white dude like Richard ever in your life? Not even in your dreams. But suddenly, I have turned to someone you would make a joke out of." Imabasi said with a deadly calm voice.
"Aw hell. You keep bringing up this 'bringing me to london gist.' I am tired of hearing it. I have thanked you enough, that doesn't mean we shouldn't joke as friends."
"I helped you. You shouldn't make jokes out of my single life. I ain't stupid."
"I am about to help you too." Miriam said as she pulled out a brown file out of a box and handed it to her.
"That's a letter of acceptance for a job at the most expensive boarding school in London. The salary is awesome. They have a beautiful staff quarters, so you won't need to pay rents anymore."
Imabasi collected the envelop reluctantly and opened it.
"How did you get the job?" She asked after reading the paper.
"Well, I used your name to apply online. You will be interviewed in one month. They will email you when the time for interview comes." Miriam reeled off.
"Thank you." Imabasi said as she hugged Miriam tight to herself. "You're my true friend and the sister I never had."
"It's okay. I am paying you back for your love. At least, you will stop nagging about how you brought me to London."
Imabasi slapped her back playfully. "You know I say these things out of anger. I never meant them. Sometimes you piss me off."
Her heart was filled with joy as she thought of working at her new school. It was the best job she would ever have in London.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 18)
Miriam's wedding was exclusively colorful.
It was one of the best and organized weddings in the city of Uyo, Nigeria.
At the reception, Imabasi made a toast. She cleared her throat and then said, "I am going to miss my best friend. I can't imagine living alone without your companionship, you will forever be my best friend. I wish you and Richard a blissful matrimony, and may the good lord shower you with beautiful kids. Happy married life."She said excitedly, but softly as she lifted the glass of wine in the air. Only sounds of glasses hitting each other and exciting murmurs were heard for a moment.
Imabasi walked slowly towards her seat in the midst of applauses.
"You're making a toast at your friend's wedding, when is yours coming up?" Her mother whispered into her ears.
Imabasi closed her eyes, pretending not to hear her.
"You need to see Prophet Ntekim before you leave for London. He is a great man of God. He will pray for you. The last time he prayed for me, he told me that your great-great grand father married all his grand children spiritually. And that he placed the head of an old woman on you, so any man that sees you, sees the face of an old woman instead. God is wonderful, he sees all things."
Imabasi spooned rice into her mouth, she was sitting cross-legged and holding her plate on her lap. for more stories and relationship tips click>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com:
She took a bite of the chicken and nodded in approval, not looking at her mother's face.
"Are you listening? Prophet Ntekim is a great man of God. He told me that I should bring you to him as soon as you arrive Nigeria. Thank God that Mimi's wedding is over, tomorrow you and I will be going to Nsukara, so that he can give you a spiritual bath and cleansing. He will wash away that ugly face." Her mother said firmly with a serious face.
Disappointment hit Imabasi like a fist as she dropped the plate on the table and said, "mom, nothing is wrong me. You've been deceived again."
Her mother's mouth clamped as she whispered, "This is Nigeria. What do you know? Do not bring that British mentality here. Your father and I despite the fact that we are stunt catholics, we still runaround other churches for healings and deliverance."
"Healings from what Mommy?"
"Healings from the family's demonic covenant. Your brother isn't married, you are not married." Her gaze got glued to Imabasi's face.
Imabasi snagged a passing waiting carrying a tray of champagne.
She gulped the champagne down her throat and took a deep breathe.
"mom, I need fresh air. I am tired of you and your men of God. They are extorting money from you in the name of helping you."
"What do you know?" Her mom asked.
"I don't wanna know anything that has to do with those fake men of God. I am not interested. I have given up on getting married for now." her reply was noncommittal.
Her mother suddenly cried out. " Pastor Ntekim said it o..He told me that the devil will hinder you at first before you agree to come."
Imabasi laughed, and then stood to her feet as the classic music for nuptial dance was played.
Everyone smiled as they watched the couple dance under the trellis of roses and ivy.
Imabasi's feet hurt and her face was stiff from smiling.
"Mom, your prophet was wrong. I am not even following you there, not ever! There is nothing wrong with me."
"I am ashamed of you. I will beat the breast of my chest for you! your father and I didn't send you to London to become foolish. Look at your childhood friend" she pointed at Miriam and Richard. "She is married, and you are shamelessly disapproving my orders." Her mother scolded bitterly.
"Mom, I am not a teenager, I know. I need fresh air. Excuse me." She said as she danced away towards where the couple had their nuptial dance.
With absolutely no warning, a woman's shrill scream trembled everyone.
She was an older woman. She fell on the floor with piles of souvenir jotters on her body.
"What happened?" Imabasi's mother asked shrilly as she tied her wrapper firmly again on her waist, walking towards the scene.
"The women of Utu ikot ekpuk have not been given Souvenir and a cooler of white soup. I came to take it by force since the souvenir people were ignoring Me..."
"Excuse me?" Imabasi's mom interrupted, totally unaware of the undercurrent.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 19)
Imabasi had returned back to London with Miriam and Richard.
They were in the air plane when Imabasi remembered her mother's words. She chuckled and took a deep breath and then turned to Miriam, who was sitting right beside her.
"My mom wanted to introduce me to another pastor. ugh, this time a prophet. She said that the man of God revealed to her that my great-great grand father had married all his grandchildren spiritually."
Miriam laughed aloud and then said, "Our people still believe in those things?"
"Yes. And I think my great great grand father was gay to have married all his grandchild spiritually. Which means he married my brother too."
Miriam gazed at her and gave a loud laugh.
"Is everything fine baby?" Richard asked. Miriam nodded while laughing. "Ima's grand daddy was gay." she whispered into Richard's ears. He chuckled as they all laughed out so Loud, waking the other passengers who were already asleep.
For a long Moment, Imabasi's mood changed. She was now calm and quiet.
"Are you okay?" Miriam asked softly.
A long moment passed before she nodded.
"I will miss you when I resume work at my new school." She said in a low tone.
They laced their fingers together and stared at each other's hands.
"I will be visiting you. You will like it there." Miriam said.
Imabasi frowned, looking into her eyes as if she could find the truth reflected there.
"Victor must be married by now." Imabasi said as she took away her gaze to the window.
Miriam squeezed her hands.
"I don't think so. They didn't fix a date yet. You still think of Victor?"
She shook her Head.
"Not really. for more stories and relationship tips click>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: I just suddenly started liking him. Don't worry, I will get over it soon."
"Richard is taking me to Australia for our honeymoon. Perth Australia!" She whispered into Imabasi's ears.
"Wow. Australia is beautiful. My brother did a one year medical program in Sidney, Australia."
"Nice, I will be there too." She said lyrically as she dropped her neck on Richard's laps.
Imabasi realized that she was exhausted and feeling sleepy.
Briefly her eyes closed, and opened again when she saw Victor kissing Monica in her imaginations.
She squeezed her eyes shut, and played with her imaginations, this time she was the bride, while Victor was the groom.
She Imagined kissing him and holding his hands. She imagined her mom dancing with the Catholic women organization in her church In London.
She thought about the kiss she had with Victor in her imagination until she got to London.

Sandville boarding school smelt of something Imabasi didn't like. She didn't like the way the students stared at her from their classroom windows.
The staff quarter manager led her to her apartment. She took several deep breaths as she walked around the one bedroom flat that was built with bricks and woods.
She loved the house, and she had imagined how Miriam would have felt if she saw the house too; she would have liked it.
"Thank you." She said softly to the staff quarters manager as he dropped her box on the floor.
"The proprietor will like to see you now Miss. He said politely as he showed Imabasi the way to the proprietor's office.
She cautiously climbed the stairs and took a deep breath when she finally saw 'The Proprietor's office' pasted on the door.
"Sir, Miss 'imorbossi' is here, the new teacher. " The quarters manager said aloud, mispronouncing Imabasi's name as a frown tightened her face.
"Let her in." A bold voice said from inside the office.
"He is ready to see you now Miss." He walked away, leaving her alone in front of the office.
She covered her eyes for a moment and shook her head.
She walked slowly into the office. She was standing near a table were a world globe was. Her eyes widened as Victor's gaze swept her off, he turned his chair, facing her.
"Hello new Teacher?"
She took a deep breath before answering him furiously.
"I am here to see the proprietor."
Victor seemed undaunted. " I am the proprietor. This is my family's business. My mom being British got this place before I was born. Respect me for that, I am now your new boss."
"Miriam never told me that you owned this school."
"Was it really necessary? All you needed was the job right? and not to see my face."
She stood for a moment undecided, and then looked up at Victor and saw the strained expression on his face.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 20)
This was one of the bleakest day of her life.
Imabasi was confused as she was angry. She would probably slap Victor on the face if not that he was her new boss.
Her new salary was worth the stay and patience.
She gazed at Victor's fingers and saw a white gold ring in his fourth finger.
"Congratulations..." She said in a shaky tone.
"For what?" Victor asked looking amazed.
"Your ring... you're married now."
"Oh this, thanks. My wife is my everything now." Victor said proudly.
A drop of tear rolled down her cheeks, and she fought against the fear to cry right before Victor.
She wiped her tears with the back of her hand, angry because Miriam's evil had taken her by surprise once again.
She touched her forehead and thought she might have fever, but she wasn't sure. It could be the heat.
"You can go. Mr Renault will show you around school. And Introduce you to the students."
Imabasi nodded shyly.
She could feel Victor's eyes on her, but then he had been watching her since she stepped into the office.
Without a word, she carefully made her way to the door; but before she clicked it open, Victor said, "Imabasi" She paused, and then turned to face him.
"Yes" She replied with a shaky tone.

"No. I was never in love with you."
"What about now? Are you in love with me."
"No!" Imabasi said softly, like she was scared of something.
He smiled lightly and then said,
"It's a lie. You love me right now. I can see it in your eyes. I saw how your face fell when I told you about Monica. You didn't wanna hear about her because it breaks your heart to see that she is married to me."
"Go away!"
She Yelled as she walked out of the office, she undid her hair and allowed it to flow down and held the door, about to walk out when Victor held her and pushed her to the wall. Kissing her deeply, he said, "Don't you ever walk out on me. I am your boss now. And not that guy who used to run after you back in Wembley." He said and took his hands off her.
"I don't want any trouble. don't ever kiss me again. You're a married man."
"But you kissed me back. You kissed me right?" He asked, thrusting his hands over his head.
She coughed and then sputtered. She was so weak she had to lean against the wall.
She watched Victor for a moment, as he walked back to his seat.
Her heart was pounding in her throat, her body was taut with yearning.
But her heart felt when her eyes caught the ring in his finger again.
She gave an audible sigh and walked out of the office without saying a word.

Imabasi went back to her new apartment after her last teaching for the day, she was sad and anxious to talk with Miriam.
She had wanted Victor to kiss him and never stop. Her heart was still hammering inside her from the experience as she dialled Miriam's number.
"You betrayed me you scumbag! You're not my friend anymore, you're not my bestie anymore. You led me to this Miriam? You had the gut to throw me into the lion's den huh? When I see you anywhere in London" She stammered with a deep breathe, "I will fight you, I will push you down to the floor, I will call your mom and tell her of how you betrayed me. What did Victor say to you that had to make you betray me huh? You knew that 'married victor' owned this school and you decided to purposely enslave me into working here right? I will never forgive you!" She ranted for a few minute without realizing that Miriam had hung up the call a long time before she finished talking.
She was suddenly quiet as if some forces had shut her up.
Then she thought of the kiss again. Desire streaked through her like the lightning that streaked through the sky.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 21)
The air was musty, filled with the scent of straw and oiled leather.
Imabasi's new teaching job became fun to her as her new students loved the colour of her skin, and the way she pronounced British words.
She liked the way her students called her name, she giggled or gave a slight smile when they did.
On her way back to the quarters, Victor watched her from his office window. A hint of amusement in his eyes. A part of him wanted to call her to his office and just watch her grumble words he might not understand, while he made her jealous. But the wiser part dared not. He watched her till he couldn't view her anymore from afar.
His phone rang, and when he peeped at it and saw that it was Miriam, he picked it up immediately.
"Hi Mimi" He said softly.
"We have a problem Victor, I think you should reveal the truth to Ima. She has been accusing me of betraying her. She has refused to pick my calls, I can't talk to her until you do. She won't agree to be my child's godmother if we don't settle this."
"You're pregnant?" he asked in soft whispers.
"Yes. Richard and I are having a baby. I haven't told Ima yet because she is really upset with me."
"But she likes her job Mimi, she is used to it now."
"I know...if not she would have been gone a long time ago. My friendship with my best friend is at stake here Victor, for more stories and relationship tips click>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: please help me clean this mess."
"Mimi, I am Your best friend's boss. She doesn't greet me, she doesn't visit my office, she snobs me even when she knows I admire her." Victor said casually.
When the call ended, Victor thought about how he was going to talk to Imabasi. He could not get over the passion and emotional that descended on him after he kissed her, and when he remembered that she kissed him back, he came calm as he summoned courage to visit the quarters.

A flash lightning illuminated the room and she caught a glimpse of her surrounding. Imabasi was checking her students test scripts on her laptop.
A plate of bacon cooked to a crisp sat next to the coffeepot. She savoured every delectable morsel, even the coffee tasted nice, it was Denmark coffee, the one she bought at the school shopping mall the previous evening.
Licking her fingers, she went back to her laptop, checking through each students test script.
There was a knock on her door, and she wondered who it was. It was the first time someone knocked on her door at that time of the night.
"Who is there?"
"It's me." Victor replied in a low tone. Her heart melted when she heard his voice. She had wondered what he wanted from her at that of the night, she became curious and walked hastily toward the door, clicking it open.
She stood there for a while, not saying a word as they looked into each other's eyes for a moment.
"I do not entertain male visitors in my apartment at this time, worse? A married man who is suppose to be in bed with his wife ." She said, walking away as Victor walked slowly behind her.
"I want us to talk about something."
"Whatever it is, we will talk about it tomorrow."
"I want to talk about it now. Right now." Victor said authoritatively."
"Go ahead." She said, despite her unwillingness to show emotion in front of him.
On a quick breath, Victor said, "Everything was a game to get you me, I mean to get you here so that we can date. I am not married, Monica is my younger brother's wife. All that was a game. The wedding gown scene and the acceptance letter were all planned by Miriam, I and Monic."
Imabasi stared at him in shock.
Ignoring her rapidly beating heart, she tried to force calm into her heart.
"I am sorry, your prank failed you. I am in a relationship with someone else. You're a married man to me Victor."
Victor's expression became blank.
"Are you in love with him?" he asked.
She shut her eyes and nodded her head, too weary to delve into her heart.
She wanted to lean her head against his shoulder, but she did not. It was important that she remain strong and keep telling him of her new found love.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 22)
After a moment, he sat beside her. His face misted over, he was weak and thought of how to convince Imabasi to kiss him just the way she did the other day at his office.
At last he spoke, forcing her to look at him.
"I am asking you three questions. first, do you love this man?
second, do you think he loves you enough to marry you?
thirdly, can't you just leave him for me?" He suddenly asked, his eyes surprisingly gentle.
"If I didn't love him, I won't tell you about him at first." She said tentatively.
"You can tell him to go."
"Why?" Imabasi asked amazingly.
"Because you have me. You love me." Then he pulled back and his fingers traced the curve of her throat, his eyes on hers, assessing as he tilted her face.
He pulled her face gently toward his mouth, Imabasi became hesitant as she took away her face.
"Leave me alone." She didn't like that he easily roused her deepest emotions.
When he attempted kissing her again, she squirmed.
Something in Imabasi's expression told Victor that she wanted him, despite the fact that she had someone who loved her. He wasn't sure she loved that person that much.
"I am feeling sleepy. I have a class tomorrow." Her tone was cool.
"Tomorrow is Saturday. It is not on the school timetable that any teacher should teach on Saturdays. for more stories and relationship tips click>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: " He said huskily, as his eyes held hers.
"Imabasi, I did all I could to make you mine, and you wanna pay me back this way?" His words sent an icy chill down her spine.
She began to feel weaknesses for him, she knew that her body would fail him, she held his face and began to kiss him softly.
And there he was, kissing her like his life depended on it.
His gaze slid down the deep curve of her waist, the bewildering sexual pull he felt
toward her seeping into his body, a warming fire he knew would be difficult to douse if he allowed it to burn hotter.
Suddenly, Imabasi's phone rang and when she saw that it was her mother, she rejected the call and placed the phone on her ears.
Victor didn't notice that she rejected the call.
"Hello darling" She said in soft whispers as Victor stared at her with wildness in his eyes.
"I miss you too." she said. The slightest smile edge her mouth as he stood up pained.
Despite the terrible feelings he had, his expression softened when Imabasi pretended to hung up the call. But he wasn't aware she was pretending.
"my boo just called." She said nicely. She probably expected him to cry, but instead, he walked slowly toward the door.
"I will be visiting him in Hampshire next weekend." She said excitedly. She was surprise he still had a normal face. He didn't frown or say nasty things to her, he only watched her talk about her imaginary lover like he meant the world to her.
Pain slammed into his heart and jolted him. Imabasi could feel his eyes on her.
"Please close the door behind you when you walk." she said, laughing aloud and running her fingers on her phone screen.
Victor started to respond, then realized any response he tries to give to her, might hurt him more. He didn't want to look at her anymore. But he wanted to feel her presence, and even if it was just for the last time he would have loved to kiss her again, so he denied himself her gaze. But he couldn't control himself. He rushed to her and his hands caught her wrist, her eyes shot up to his and he surprised her by trying to unbutton her night wear. She pushed him away.
"Get out! you want to have sex with me and make me cheat on my boyfriend." She yelled.
Victor wondered what cheating meant to her. She had kissed him several times, and making love to her suddenly turned out to be offensive.
But he reminded himself that for one wild and insane moment beneath the sky, he had kissed her over and over again.
After a moment, he sat beside her. His face misted over, he was weak and thought of how to convince Imabasi to kiss him just the way she did the other day at his office.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 23)
Imabasi had hurt Victor the way she'd never understand.
A thrill went through her as
Victor couldn't contain the wobble in his voice. He walked out of her apartment with a sad face.
Imabasi laughed aloud, she laughed because she knew she had hurt him, and she felt it was right to pay him back, and make him feel the same way she felt when she heard he was getting married to Monica Anderson.
She'd never had guessed by the dark look in his eyes that she broke his heart terribly. She had displayed a childish and uncharacteristic reaction that shocked her, she couldn't believe she had said all those things to the man she was in love with. And suddenly, pride deserted her.
"I am so sad. I fell in love with the wrong woman." Victor had said before he slammed the door.
Imabasi didn't lose her temper. She didn't allow her emotions to run amok like a fishwife. She was calm, as she watched him walk out.
But his words ran through Imabasi's heart until the next morning.
She thought about him while she walked from her house to the school block. As she got close to his office, she thought he might be looking at her and wishing to be with her.
She wished in her heart that he would visit her every night like he did the previous night, so that she would kiss him and tell him of how her so-called lover never existed.
"Hello Miss 'Imorbossi'. for more stories and relationship tips click>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: Mrs Moore said to Imabasi as she entered the staff room with piles of books in her hands. "The proprietor is terribly ill. I was asked to alert the ambulance." She said shrilly as she settled down on a chair.
Imabasi stared at the white lady with shock written all over her face. She doubted her at first, and wondered if the man who was dying in love for her, right in her bedroom the previous night had suddenly fallen sick.
"What's sicking him Mrs Moore?" Imabasi asked softly.
"I am not sure of what it is. Probably fever." She said.
"Where is he now?"
"At the school infirmary with the school doctor. He will be taken to the hospital soon." Mrs Moore said.
Imabasi suddenly became grief stricken as her hands became sweaty. She became confused as she stood up and got her sweater from the hanger hastily. " See you soon Mrs Moore." She said in a shaky, shrilly tone.
She walked hastily toward the school infirmary. And just as she entered, she saw the nurses surrounded around him.
She watched him pitifully as he laid weakly on the bed. His eyes were closed and his face was pale and sick. Imabasi stared at him, she was immediately caught in a soft sob when he opened his eyes and felt her presence. His gaze caught hers, and his heart trembled as he closed his eyes again. But Imabasi wanted him to stare at Her; to look at the new sweater she bought at Brixton market and perceive the flowery scent of body shop mist she wore for the first time. She wore it for him and it was a gift from Miriam.
The ambulance arrived, and Imabasi walked slowly toward him.
"What happened to the proprietor nurse?" She finally asked.
"He is sick." The nurse replied boldly.
Imabasi held his hands and stared at his face for a moment, wishing in her heart that he would open his eyes and stare at her again. But he didn't. The doctors rushed out from the ambulance and placed him on a stretcher. He was carried by two doctors into the ambulance. Her heart was beating fast. She jumped inside the ambulance and kept looking at his face like a child.
"You can't come with us miss." one of the doctors said to her.
But she acted deaf and dumb at the same time. She didn't look at them, she only stared at Victor.
She squeezed his hands and prayed in her heart that he should be well soon, so that she could tell him that her new boyfriend was going to be him, and that all she said were lies to hurt his feelings.
He would kiss her again and tell her how much he loved her. But this wasn't happening soon, he was love sick and needed more than a companion.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 24)
She walked to the window and looked out over the hospital premises. A deep indigo light brought the copper beech and oaks into a dark relief. Imabasi leaned her head against window and tightened her arms around her torso. She was devastated and calm. She didn't know what to do. She watched Victor as he laid on the bed stiffly.
A knock sounded on the door, she remained where she was.
"Hello?" Miriam's voice came through the door. Folding her arms tightly across her chest, she ignored her.
But Miriam opened the door and walked in slowly.
She stood for a while, watching Victor and Imabasi pitifully.
"I am so sorry." Miriam whispered.
"I love him." Imabasi said tearily.
"What really happened?"
"I don't know how it started, but doctor said fever."
Miriam disliked the simplicity of her reply as much as she disliked the complexity of her emotions.
Imabasi blinked away the tears welling behind her eyelids. While Miriam held her hands tight and hugged her. " Your god child is growing in my tummy." She whispered softly.
Imabasi's heart softened as she withdrew from Miriam's arms and held her belly firmly with her hands.
She was excited about the good news, but the thoughts of Victor lying on that hospital bed broke her heart into pieces..
She wanted him to just open his eyes and tell her that he was going to be fine.
The pressure in her chest tightened.
"He will be fine. for more stories and relationship tips click>>>Alexoduanam.blogspot.com: " Miriam said. She'd always known just what to say to make her smile. The appearance of Imabasi's softer side meant so much to her. She had lured her into being in a relationship with Victor, and she wanted it to work out well them.
Moments later, Victor coughed and opened his eyes.
"Ima" he called out weakly.
Imabasi's heart trembled at the sound of his voice. She held his hands tight and took it to her chest.
"I love you." She whispered softly to his ears.
He stared at her amazingly. He was astound at the emotions and softness in her voice and face.
"I love you too." He whispered...The smell of cigarette from his mouth hit her hard on the nose. Hating the smell from his mouth, she gave him a disgustful glance and stood on her feet.
"You still smoke?" She asked with a stern face.
Victor nodded.
"Why? It turns me off. I told you to stop smoking."
"I was sad." Victor said in mere whispers.
But Imabasi became angry.
Victor's eyes widened and he seemed ludicrously shocked at her blatant query.
"I can't love a man who smells cigarettes. Just last night, I kissed you. You had the smell of a good masculine perfume. And today, you smell like a taut." Imabasi said angrily.
Miriam became flabbergasted as she tried to signal Imabasi.
"This isn't the right time for this Ima."
"What other time is right? I want to Know!" Imabasi yelled as she walked out and slammed the door.
Victor was mute for a moment. He couldn't say a word.
He was already tired of letting Imabasi point out his flaws to his face. He became angry and bittered as he closed his eyes. He could only imagine kissing her.
Miriam was sorry, but she couldn't say it.
She lowered herself on the chair beside the bed and watched Victor grumble words in bitterness. He was heartbroken again and thought it was time to let Imabasi leave his life for good.
He was going to tell her own flaws to her face, and walk away.
He was going to travel to California to see his mother, so he could forget Imabasi and find his one true love whom he thought might kiss him with a smelly mouth. He wanted more than just Imabasi's kind of love.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 25)
It was cold that night, after putting more wood on the Fire, Imabasi sat beside the fire and warmed up her body.
Sitting on the ground beside the fire, she didn't allow herself to think about the smell of cigarette from Victor's mouth. Or her desire to kiss him again. She didn't allow herself to think about the kiss she had with him that was now indelibly imprinted in her thoughts.
But not thinking about him proved impossible.
After she toiled herself, trying to sleep. She combed her hair and tied it back with a piece of lace. She drank the last of the black coffee and rinsed the grounds off the bottom with some water. Then she fell asleep.
She saw him, he was dressed in a groom's suit, set to walk down the aisle. She was among his invitees, and it happened that she was fifty years of age. She watched this beautiful lady walk down the aisle, toward Victor. She became angry, tears running down her cheeks as the lady who was the bride held Victor's hands. They were about to be joined in holy matrimony when she blurted, "He is my husband!"
The crowds gave an audible applause and watched her walk down the aisle to meet him, she suddenly saw herself in a wedding dress and then a bouquet fell from the sky.
She woke up panicking. Uneasiness prickled through her. She folded her arms, pulling the blanket tighter across her shoulders. When she looked up again, she could only imagine the other woman; the one he was waiting for at the podium.

Imabasi stood there with a bunch of yellow rose Flowers; It smelt of winter candy apple.
She saw two people in one cute man. The romantic one who had kissed her two nights ago at the quarters, and the horrible one whom she perceived horrible smell of minted cigarette from his mouth. But she was ready to forgive the horrible man and take back the one she had kissed..
She handed the flower respectively to him and searched for something in her handbag.
"I bought you something from the body shop." her voice was low. She handed a mouth rinse and a toothbrush to him. He stared at her, looking amaze.
"I have a toothbrush." Victor retorted.
"This one is specially made for smokers."
She said shrilly.
He took the items from her and kept them by his side.
"Thank you." he said without taking his eyes off from her. He wanted to kiss her as his gaze settled on her lips. They stared at each other for moments, mutes and unable to move.
"I should be leaving. I have the students work to do." She said softly.
"Please stay with me. Stay a bit longer." Victor said, holding her hands tight.
She put her head on his chest and slept off.
Pulling her close to himself, Victor kissed her on the head.

FINDING MR PERFECT HUSBAND (EPISODE 26)
The moon shone faintly overhead through a weave of branches. Imabasi stood under the guava tree, she looked around her as if seeing darkness for the first time.
He observed her with an arch smile,
then she heard his voice.
A fluttering sounded in the tree branches above
he led her hands and walked her to his sitting room.
He looked at her shivering, an eerie mist clung to the ground. He stood and faced her, watching as her gaze chased up to his. He kissed her succulent lips, licking her lip gloss.
A fresh gust of wind whipped against them as he hugged her tight to himself.
Victor worried about how he was going to look into Imabasi’s eyes and tell her of her own flaws.
He caught her arms and the. whispered, “I have something to tell you. It’s very important.” He said huskily.
Imabasi lowered herself on his soft sofa and fixed a gaze on his eyes. He was shy, but he summoned courage when he realized that he was letting the love he had for her overshadow his sincere thoughts on her attitude.
“You have a terrible attitude Ima.” He said trying to hold her hands.
“You do have a smelly hair. And despite the fact that you have these flaws I love you so much, I still perceive that offensive smell on your hair.” He said.
Imabasi became shy as she put down her face. She didn’t know what to say. She held her hair and tried to perceive the ponytail, but Victor held her hands and then kissed her on the forehead. Her eyes wide, as she nodded.
“But I still love you despite these flaws.” He said, grabbing her to his body.
Pressed against the bed, Imabasi shut her eyes closed. She was ashamed of herself as she thought of what she was going to say to Victor.
“I know my hair smells.” She whispered softly. But before she could say something else, Victor had kissed her deeply.
“Ima,” he said. “I will love you forever. It doesn’t matter how terrible your hair smells, I believe if you truly love me, you will change for me. I will still kiss your hair and love you all the same.” He stood and his attention paused on her face. Lightning flashed and briefly revealed his eyes. She felt strange, as if she wanted to just vanish into the air. She felt pulse danced in her throat, she was feeling uncomfortable and wished Victor had told her of the smelly hair over the phone. She should have argued.
Something was happening between them, and she knew he felt it, too. Despite the fact that she’d talked about his smelly mouth, she wanted to kiss it and rest in her arms. But she was afraid the end of her hair my get stuck in his nose.
He dropped to one knee in front of her. She caught herself on his shoulder. She felt the heat of his body and the power of his muscles beneath her palms.
His palm brushed her calf and the intimacy of the touch nearly made her jump. The gown tugged and tore, her petticoat didn’t suffer the same fate, as it reached only to her ankles.
He had no idea where he was taking her to. But he held her and walked around the house playfully.
For an hour, all they did was play like children. The hairpins in Imabasi’s hair had fallen off one after the other, but she didn’t care when she saw them all scattered on the floor.
Dropping her on the cold terrazzo, Victor began to kiss her again.
Her hair framed the delicate lines of her jaw and sent a wave of protectiveness through him.
He observed her countenance when he began to remove her panties. When he saw the pleasantness in her eyes, he unbuttoned her brazier and threw it on the floor. Covering her with his body.
And for a moment, she felt safe in the warmness of his arms. His embrace was all she wanted.

I had to discuss it with a friend that asked me to find a good spell caster, first of all i never believed in this Cast spelling but i have to give it a try until when i came across PROPHET JOSEPH UGO email on the internet about how he has helped so many people get their ex back and help fix the relationship and make people happy in their relationship and some other stories concerning Spiritual illness and more, I explained my situation to him and he helped me carry out some prayers, some Herbs and roots and a little sacrifice which i did, and within 7 days he came back to Apologize and it was just a miracle for me, Am happy today that he helped me and i can proudly say that my husband is now with me again and he is now in love with me like never before.
