THE 7 POSITIVE SIGNS TO
KNOW IF AN OPPOSITE SEX IS INDIRECTLY INDICATING INTEREST IN YOU.
While some
ladies don’t like approaching a man directly even if they are interested in him
for fear of being turned down or considered too cheap, some men are often
afraid of approaching a lady directly for fear of rejection which is usually
very painful to the victim. If you cannot take the bull by the horns, flirting
becomes the best alternative. By flirting we simply refer to behaving towards
someone to indicate that you are romantically attracted to him/her.
Some men and
ladies do know exactly the person they like. Once they see them, they usually
receive emotional signals that push them towards the person. In such a mood you
have to flirt with the person to ascertain the likelihood of acceptance. If you
can’t hit the nail on the head, it may be by saying a word or by exhibiting
some signs.
Starting a
conversation with the person you are attracted to is a good way to initiate
flirting. Though starting a conversation is a great challenge to those who feel
very shy to express their feelings to an opposite sex, you can just start by
saying ‘’Hi’’. But you must not say ‘’Hi’’ in a depressed tone when initiating
a flirt. When the person says ‘’Hi’’ back, you can now say ‘How are you’? if
the opposite sex replies ‘Fine’ that is good for a start. Now that you have
broken the ice, more words can follow. However, if the response you get is not
positive especially in an attempt to get the person’s phone number or address
it means the addressee is not interested.
THE 7 POSITIVE SIGNS.
The
following signs can help you know to a large extent if someone is indirectly asking
for your hand in a relationship:
1. SMILING AND JOKING WITH YOU: When an opposite sex smiles blissfully with you or talk to
you jocularly it’s possible that he/she is attracted to you.
2. WHEN HE/SHE GREETS YOU WELL: Some levels of greeting can mean being attracted to an opposite
sex. But you have to be careful how you take advantage of that because some
ladies may just greet you well as a mere way of exhibiting good character as
typical of well-brought up African ladies
.
3. A PROLONGED EYE CONTACT: When a man or a woman is attracted to you, he/she can give a
prolonged eye contact and continuous stare at you even if you are moving away.
4. BEING EAGER TO SEE YOU OR TALK WITH YOU DURING ANY GENERAL GIST OR
CONVERSATION: A
person that is interested in you maybe very eager to respond to what you say. In
the same vein, when a lady forms the habit of asking after you in your absence
or asking you where you were the day she didn’t see you, it means she has you
in mind.
5. BRIEF TOUCH:
When an opposite sex is eager to touch you or touches you briefly or intermittently
when talking with you, it means he/she likes you. The person would laugh and
quickly touch you and withdraw the hand again. However, as a rule, a man is not
supposed to touch a woman first in the name of flirting. The woman has to
initiate it before you respond slightly if you are interested in her.
6. SENDING A ROMANTIC TEXT MESSAGES: This does not require much explanation. When a guy or lady
sends you a romantic text it’s obvious that you have an open invitation to
accept or reject him/her.
7. SENDING OF GREETING CARDS AND OTHER GIFT ITEMS: When an opposite sex sends you a
romantic greeting card or other gift items without explaining why, it means
they are interested in you. A man who does not have the courage to woo a lady
can also take advantage of sending gift items to a lady or giving her money
every time without explaining why, thinking that the woman will understand. Such
act of cowardice is not however advisable…
