Relationship is a serious business. You must not leave things to chances. You must be deliberate about the type of person you would want to associate with. Remember we are talking about the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with. Trial-and-error mentality must be ruled out of the game. You must not say ‘’ let me try him/her first; if it does not work, then I will quietly marry another person. if only you knew the pains and stigma associated with divorce, you would not reason that way. Or you won’t say ‘’anyone’’ as some may say. So, when your mind is made up for a serious relationship, the best thing to do is to list out the qualities you would like to see in your mate. This is important because if you don’t know what you need, you won’t know when you actually arrive at it. While some ladies would like to say ‘the man of my dream must be jovial, caring, selfless, intelligent, confident, bold, good looking, hardworking, fun to be with etc. Some men would say ‘my dream lady must be attractive or sexually appealing, neat, submissive, respectful, intelligent, open-minded, fair skinned (or dark in complexioned), gainfully employed, etc.

This type of pre-conclusion can always help you get your life partner directly when you finally come across him/her. Of course this is why I don’t kick against all forms of love at first sight. Especially, when you are opportune to hear the person communicate or behave, making up your mind immediately for such a person, may rightly be a product of pre-decision for such a character. Almost every day throws at you the opportunity to meet your dream mate. It could be by living close to the individual in a certain environment or knowing the person through someone. It could be at points of human gatherings or social setting like school, church, festivals, work place, business centers or outfit, sports activities, wedding or marriage seminars, restaurants, clubs, picnics, recreation centers, trip (while travelling together) and so forth.

Wherever be the point of contact, you have to be carefully observant to avoid been attracted to a pretending and desperate person who may also be there simply to find a ‘lover’ whether he/she has good intentions for you or not. However, if you are not fully convinced of discussing relationship affairs with the found person at the location you have to collect her particulars like phone number or address for better meeting arrangement. But if you sense strong conviction of sharing your feelings with the person, you can just walk straight to excuse the person to a corner where you can interact on the issue. In doing this you must summoned enough courage to express your true feelings for her. Nothing but the truth, without unnecessary coloration and lies. As you look straight to her eyes in the process, go straight to the point confidently to prove that you are man enough to have her and listen with all eagerness for the response, which may be given immediately or deferred whichever way, if the meeting works out well in the long run, you must make the sacrifice to make love grow fast as possible in the relationship.
